It Looks Like A Black Morning

Clouds, lightning and earthquake threaten to make it a black morning

Standing outside on my balcony, Enjoying the cool breeze, The early morning sky is black, Parts of grey are also turning into black.

Dark black clouds are overcast, Making a loud bellowing sound, Louder and louder with menacing thunder, Lightning followed with more thunder.

I ran inside afraid and trembling, The doors shook and made me scared, There was an earthquake jerky and shaky, It sure looks like a black morning.

My thanks to Somsubhra Banerjee Priyanka Srivastava Elisabeth Khan Rahul Sharma for this prompt and for housing my poems in your publication Literary Impulse.
