Summary

The article provides guidance on crafting effective written content by focusing on attention-grabbing titles, engaging introductions, concise main sections, proper sourcing, and thoughtful conclusions.

Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of writing strategies that capture and maintain reader interest. It outlines five key tips for writing a good article: creating an eye-catching title that summarizes the content, writing a succinct and relevant introduction, keeping the main section simple and to the point, using quotes and citing sources appropriately, and concluding with a summary or thought-provoking ideas. The author suggests that these elements are crucial for successful written communication, especially in the age of digital distraction.

Opinions

  • The title of an article is critical as it is the first point of contact with potential readers and can determine whether the article is read.
  • An effective introduction should be brief and entice the reader to continue, possibly by hinting at important information to come.
  • The main section of an article should be written with the understanding that readers may have short attention spans, particularly when reading online, and should therefore be straightforward and concise.
  • Using bullet points can help maintain reader engagement and make the article easier to digest.
  • Providing examples and citing sources adds credibility to the article and respects the original authors' work.
  • A good article should answer the questions of Who, What, Where, Why, and When, either directly or indirectly.
  • The conclusion should tie back to the introduction, potentially asking questions or provoking thought, and should be written objectively.
  • Relevant images can enhance the written content by complementing the text visually.

It Doesn’t Matter Whether You Are a Good or Bad Writer

It is important how you write an article

I’ll give you 5 tips on how to write a good article.

1. Title — attention

It doesn’t matter how well your article is written unless you have an eye-catching title. The title should briefly summarize what the article is about. Here, it’s about being creative to get the reader’s attention. It’s the title that sells, but be careful not to overdo it! When people search for information on the internet, they tend to click on catchy “titles” instead of boring and mundane themed titles.

2. Entry

The entry should not be too long and should be related to the next section, that is, the main section. Like the title-it should briefly tell you what the article is about, but with more words here. Try to engage the reader; use tools that allow the reader to continue reading. One example is that you skip the most important information — just give it a hint — so that the reader is curious and continues reading to see the rest.

3. Main section

When surfing the internet, you are very distracted, in most cases equal to a goldfish! In other words, people tend to be much more impatient when reading from a screen than when reading from a book. Therefore, it is important to keep sentences and paragraphs simple, concise and concise. Another way to get readers ‘ attention is to use bulleted lists. The main section should provide roughly as much information in the shortest possible text.

4. Resources

You can also give concrete examples that can highlight the topic you are writing. If you want to show what someone else has said or written, you should enclose it in quotes and not change any statements. You must also specify the name of the person who said it, meaning you must refer to the source so as not to steal other people’s text.

In short, there are only five things to remember when writing a good article: Who, What, Where, Why, and When. If you can answer these questions in your article, preferably indirectly, you have written a good article. Of course, your dance should be good, too.

By the way, you’re free to bring pictures that are relevant to and/or match what you’ve written.

5. Final

In the end, if possible, you can come to a conclusion. You can also grasp what is written in the introduction (i.e., what it is about in short), ask questions, or be thought-provoking. The result is a good place to express your own ideas, but remember to express them in the most objective way possible.
