Israel-Hamas War: College Students Duped by Terrorist Proxy for Iran (Part 2)
Do some campus groups really support a radical Islamic Caliphate to destroy the Western World? They should know better…
Left-wing extremists of Generation Z who consider themselves as “woke” social justice warriors need to wake up to the inconvenient reality of supporting terrorism against vital American interests in the Middle East.
This is happening as part of a brutal war by Hamas against Israel on behalf of Iran and Islamic extremism. The Hamas war against Israel is less about liberty and human rights for the Palestinian territories, and more about the strategic geopolitical goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran for regional hegemony.
Iran’s grand plan is to launch a Caliphate, or global jihad, against the West by spearheading a premeditated Hamas-led war against the Jewish State. Iran hopes this will galvanize disparate factions of the Arab world to unite behind it.
Young progressives at institutions of higher education have been hijacked by Hamas propaganda since its barbaric terror attack against Israel on October 7th.
As the world knows by now, Israeli members of Gen Z were targeted and slaughtered by Hamas at a large music festival for peace, just outside Gaza’s border with Israel, as well as in a nearby town packed with families.
Young people on college campuses are being indoctrinated by Hamas on popular social media platforms like Communist China’s TikTock— as well as by foolhardy progressives supporting terrorists (hopefully, the latter is only due to the ignorance of youth).
Hamas is happily abusing social media by spreading hate speech and inciting violence against Israel, America and the Jewish people.
Unfortunately, this jaded and cynical approach appears to be working so far, to the detriment of Israel, Middle East peace, Jews worldwide and American foreign policy.
American students are being duped by Hamas and its main patron, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The alarming result: Pro-Palestinian, Arab and Muslim groups on campus are helping to proliferate antisemitism, either unwittingly or by design. This reprehensible conduct must be called out and quelled immediately by university leaders, donors and boards of trustees.
These vehement anti-Israel protests represent the worst, not the best, of student activism. Those involved in proliferating dangerous hate speech on college campuses should be ashamed of themselves.
“Wiping Israel Off the Map”
As stated in Part 1 of this series, Hamas is directly funded and operated by Iran, while Israel is the USA’s closest ally and only real democracy in the Middle East.
The Islamic Republic of Iran — with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin as a close partner in crime— is a chief sponsor of global terrorism with the goal of threatening American national security interests and, ultimately, destroying the foundation of liberal democracy in the Western world.
But don’t tell that to some of the clueless college students spewing hate speech against Jews.
It has been evident for decades that Islamic extremist terrorists led by Iran are hell-bent on “wiping Israel off the map” — as Iranian rulers always proudly proclaim.
The Islamic Republic’s fanatical clerics and government leaders rejoice in their ignominious efforts to regularly dehumanize Jews. Iran likes to stage street rallies in the capital city of Tehran with rabid chants of “Death to America and Israel” — as flags of both nations are set ablaze and trampled upon.
Innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza are being manipulated as props by Hamas in a global propaganda campaign at Iran’s bloody behest.
In other words, Hamas is implicitly deceiving and harming the very Palestinian civilians in Gaza whom the terrorist group is purporting to protect.
Sanctions on Hamas
Hamas stands for Islamic Resistance Movement, in case you were unaware. It is designated as a terrorist entity by the USA and the European Union.
In addition to the U.S. State Department citing Hamas as an official terrorist organization, the Treasury Department has sanctioned Hamas (see press release below).
“The United States is taking swift and decisive action to target Hamas’s financiers and facilitators following its brutal and unconscionable massacre of Israeli civilians, including children,” Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen recently stated.
She added: ‘The U.S. Treasury has a long history of effectively disrupting terror finance and we will not hesitate to use our tools against Hamas. We will continue to take all steps necessary to deny Hamas terrorists the ability to raise and use funds to carry out atrocities and terrorize the people of Israel…”
“That includes by imposing sanctions and coordinating with allies and partners to track, freeze, and seize any Hamas-related assets in their jurisdictions.” — Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen
Final Thoughts
While I applaud and share the noble goals of Gen Z to fight climate change and prevent gun violence, these young people are severely misguided in their demonstrations against Israel — which have gotten way out of hand.
This jarring trend of renewed antisemitism was recently exemplified by the deranged Cornell student who was arrested this week for making graphic death threats to Jews on campus.
The situation has become so dire that Cornell University has announced the closing of campus today, as it reassesses the situation and addresses concerns of families and national Jewish groups alike. Meanwhile, America’s enemies are rejoicing.
“Israel has the right and obligation to defend itself to make sure this never happens again,” said Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as he departed yesterday for another critically important diplomatic trip to the Middle East.
Samanth Power, Administrator of the Agency for International Development (USAID), said yesterday: “Israel is exercising its legitimate right to self-defense.”
Ambassador Power, the former U.S. Representative to the United Nations, added: “Hamas is causing Palestinian civilians to pay the price as it sets up shop where civilians are gathered, including refugee camps.”
In addition to purposely placing leadership and military assets in (and under) Gaza’s densely packed civilian population centers (which Hamas knows will be bombed in the war it instigated), media reports indicate that Hamas is hoarding vast amounts of fuel at the expense of the very Palestinian people they claim to protect — scarce fuel desperately needed for hospital emergency rooms, among other things.
When will these naive and politically correct and indoctrinated student protesters learn that not every radical left-wing extremist rally is for a righteous cause, despite what they are mistakenly led to believe.
But remember with the famous showman PT Barnum presciently said: “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
The student protesters definitely proved again that’s Barnum’s quip is still valid.
What do YOU think?
