Is Spirituality a Profitable Niche?
Writing manifestations and getting paid for your work

There is no such thing as a profitable niche. A niche is profitable because you say and make it so. A niche is profitable because you are knowledgeable in it. A niche is profitable because you have value to offer. A niche is profitable because you can talk about it all day long and never get tired of it. A niche is profitable because you set the intention for it to be profitable.
As a spiritual writer, did you forget your power to manifest anything you say you want? I didn’t forget. When I decided to focus on spirituality, although it was a calling and there was not much I could do but to follow the call, I intended I wanted to be paid fairly for the work I was going to do. I love money, don't you? Money allows me to not worry about how the bills will be paid so I can focus on my work. It allows me to be comfortable and money is good. Good energy. I love good energy and I call all sorts of good energy to me.
When I started my spirituality publication, I knew one day it’d grow, and I’d attract like-minded individuals with dope spirits, and together we’d create a tribe and do the work we’ve been assigned to do. Today we’ve passed 1000 followers! My goodness! Our minds are powerful things that can bring any vision to life.
Spiritual writers always ask me if spirituality is a good niche. They say, “Kimberly, you are so focused on spirituality, is it profitable?” They ask me what's possible. How much money I make. How much they could make. They say give me something to look up to and I always say, if this is your calling then you need not worry so much about the money. You know why? The universe is one smart entity, trust me when I say it knows what you need and if you are bold enough to say, see, and feel your desires, then it has no choice but to bring you your wishes as long as you are willing to take action and do the work.
I don't like talking about money and pay in the workplace because I personally believe we shouldn't discuss money in the workplace and if you are a full-time writer like me, then this is your workplace and we must treat it as such. But I also wanted to satisfy people’s curiosity, so I gave myself goals and I’ll update writers every time I hit that goal in a month. I want to show you what's possible.

Here’s is the story: I was always called to write. I wrote even as a little girl; I always kept a journal. But as I grew up, I got distracted by the bad boys (ahem) and I stopped hearing the call. When I had my spiritual awakening, the call returned, and it grew louder and louder. It said, “You are supposed to be writing, Kimberly. You aren’t doing what you came here and signed up to do and that’s why you’re so unhappy. The world needs to hear the things you know.”
“But how?” I asked. “How do I begin to do this?”
And then the pandemic started. I quit my job, took a writing course to strengthen my writing, took a spiritual life coaching course to strengthen my spirituality, and I gave it all I got.
There is no such thing as a profitable niche. A niche is profitable because you say and make it so. A niche is profitable because you have value to offer. A niche is profitable because you set the intention for it to be profitable.
I worked my ass off! Yeah. Just because you are spiritual and powerful as fuck does not mean things just flow to you when you sit on your butt all day listening to Teal Swan on YouTube. You must turn her off and get to work. I worked incredibly hard because I had wasted so much time on unnecessary things and careers. By the time I came to my senses, I had no time to waste. I went all in.
I wanted nothing more than to be paid to do something I’m very passionate about. I deserved to be paid for the mission. I told the universe what I wanted. I said I wanted to live a very comfortable life and I could live a comfortable life if I could make $3,000 a month doing something as dope as writing about the things I love more than anything in the world.
The universe replied, “Okay, but do you think that’s possible?”
I said, “Hell yeah, it’s possible. If Tim Denning can make $10,000 a month writing, then I could make way more than that!’’
Universe said, “Sheesh okay little girl, your wish is my command but you know this will not be easy right? You are going to write and write and write and write another paragraph”
I said, “Say no more!” And I got to work.
I wrote, and I wrote, and I wrote, and I wrote another paragraph. I did it day after day, month after month. And every month, I was getting a little closer to making the amount I asked for.
The universe would say, “You gotta prove it. How bad you want it?” And I wrote, and I wrote, and I wrote, and I wrote another paragraph. Six months after this intense agreement with the universe, I’m so close to hitting my desired amount. I can confidently say I will be making $3,000 a month in less than two years because I hit $1,000 this month! Shhhh.

My publication grew to 1000 followers, and I earned $1,000. If this synchronicity doesn’t have the hand of the universe plastered all on it, then I don’t know what else does.
So I think spirituality is a darn profitable niche because I said and made it so. I believed it was possible, so I made it possible. I know that $1,000 a month is still quite low. Although I’m not where I need to be and not yet making the amount that I will be making in less than 3 years, I’m right where I need to be and making just how much I should be making right now.
We don’t appreciate things that come easily, do we? A little sweat, a little chasing, and you hold on tight. And this here is the initial test by the universe to see how badly I really wanted this. How badly do you want this? When I showed how badly I wanted this, the right people noticed me. I put myself out there to be seen and my work to be read. The most important people approached me and offered me awesome opportunities that made me think damn I'm doing this and it's really happening.
Now I know how this may make some new writers feel. I know. It may make you feel as if you have a long way to go and if you are just starting out, then the truth is that you have a long way to go and you have so much work to do. But it’s good news for you, and do you know why? Because if I’m making four figures on Medium, then why not you? Why not you? Aren’t you just as powerful? You deserve this just as much as Tim Denning and just as much as me! You can make way more as long as you believe. But you will write and write and write and write another paragraph. Are you ready to do that kind of work?
