Hello Medium world I am Marla J. Albertie, I have lived on board a United States carrier therefore, I believe I am unstoppable.
As a native of Jacksonville, Florida I love to read, travel, and shop. Many of my travels have been on cruises as I has taken 15 thus far.
I am a happily single, divorced twice, unbothered, non-religious and blessed woman.
I have one 22-year old son and three beautiful God-children.
I believe life is a journey and we all have the opportunity to create the life we want so why not; you only live this life once.
I work a 9–5 and run my multi-faceted business.
As an energetic visionary I am the owner and founder of the TruthSpeaksGroup LLC, a multi-media company that creates strategies and solutions for work-life integration/harmony (WLI/H). I don’t believe in work-life balance; I believe all areas of our lives can be integrated and we can create harmony in our lives.
My mantra is to #TeachTrainEducate.
My one word philosophy is #Learn.

I love a good story and frequents the movies to eat my favorite movie snack, nachos.
I am a certified professional career, executive, and life coach, trainer APTD (Associate Professional in Training and Devlopment), instructor, author, and have over 20 years of business, coaching, and training experience.
I hold a Masters of Education in Adult Education, Bachelors of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, and an Associates of Science in Financial Services. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
I am a certified Hogan Predictive Index and Occupational Personality Questionnaire assessor and debriefer.
I love to blog, train, coach, write, consult, vlog, walk, and laugh with my family and friends. My dad and I are concert and comedy-show junkies.

- Complete Ph.D. program
- Become a professor
- Make 3–4 figures a month from writing on Medium and other writing ventures
- Move into dream home
- Be credit card debt free (don’t have much left)
- Become an consultant (will still coach)

- Build out freelancing side of my business (in progress)
- Continue my research in work-life integration/harmony and speak around the world
- Expand my YouTube talkshow to interview more amazing people like yourself (yes you reading this)
- Complete financial freedom
