Into the Night
Inspired by dreams

“To stay present in everyday life, it helps to be deeply rooted within yourself; otherwise , the mind, which has incredible momentum, will drag you along like a wild river” Eckhart Tolle — The Power of Now
Into the Night
Surrounding silence joins the darkness. You feel the weight of the coming night, Slowly walking into sight.
Getting more tired with each passing moment, Your nightly routine comes into place, The sun has set, the time has passed, Your bed awaits you with comfort and rest.
Moving slowly from side to side, Rocking you asleep is your inner light. The moon smiles into your dreams. Sends you far into another land. Memories blending into your thoughts.
Joy with sorrow dancing tonight in the moonlight.
Dreams have transformed you today, Moments of change fly your way. Hope and Love join your flight.
Awaking rested your thoughts are tangled, Flashing back to the dreams you just fought. Lingering around for a few more seconds, Fading away as the morning starts.
Good and bad haunting your day, Happiness and hope visit you today. The darkness of the night fades away. GK 10/20/22
