Interesting Thoughts from Other Writers That Made Me Go Hmmm 🤔 or LOL 😂

My Weekly WTA: What The Ah-ha Moments — Issue3

I wanted to do shoutouts to authors, and I was going to do it in a newsletter, but everyone is doing one of those, it seems. I recently deleted most of the ones I subscribed to and didn’t even read the ones I think are stellar.

I decided that starting my own was not the best investment of my time. However, I still wanted to put together a piece highlighting things I learned or authors that made me laugh hysterically -in a good way.

With daylight savings time kicking in last weekend, the days here in the US have become much shorter, which is always a major adjustment. So, keeping up with the news and staying in the know was difficult because my equilibrium was off a bit.

But here we are, a week later, and I’ve found some hmmms 🤔 and lols 😂 to share!

I will start with a publication that makes us go 😂

This is a heartwarming tale from Kerry Kramer about how a marriage survived many, and I mean many, incidents involving moving vehicles.

Luckily, no person was hurt, but I can’t say the same for the automobiles. If you want a good laugh, then give this one a read.

Next up is another one that will make you 😂

Despite the serious-sounding title, I laughed because I could relate to the lack of desire to exercise. However, Emma Vincent seems to find something that works for her to overcome procrastination that might make you go 🤔

This one will have you rolling 😂

I don’t know about you, but my email spam and scams have been out of control lately. As much as I am pro-AI, we largely have that to thank for the increased activity.

Chris Raymond took an annoying situation and made us laugh with this piece.

Overthinkers, I think you know where this one will lead 🤔🤔🤔

I am an incredible overthinker and over-analyzer. Generally, I know what I need to do but don’t want to. I keep looking for more information to decide or ruminate over what I probably should do to avoid making the necessary decision.

Marie A. Rebelle writes a relatable post if you struggle with being a ruminating, overanalyzing, overthinker of things.

My final piece of the week will definitely have you going 🤔

I happened across this last article by Rebecca Levy-Gantt regarding menopause. Since I had just published my own story on this topic that focused on mental health, I thought it would be a great article to round out my weekly list.

Surprisingly, some men commented or clapped on my story, which I wasn’t expecting but thought was fantastic.

Even though this is something women experience medically, it does impact every man out there. They all have mothers, sisters, friends, partners, wives… and it’s probably just as confusing to them as it is to us.

We are all in it together, and I do believe there is a huge mental health component that gets overlooked. Dr. Levy-Gantt provides some helpful insight.

If you haven’t read my post and would like to, here it is and it will definitely make you go Hmmm 🤔 and LOL 😂

Happy Reading!

In the meantime, I will keep discovering, keep laughing, and keep the ‘ah-ha’ moments coming. So, Stay tuned for more exciting thoughts next time that will make you go Hmmm 🤔 or LOL 😂.
