Interesting Thoughts from Other Writers That Made Me Go Hmmm ๐ค or LOL ๐
My Weekly WTA: What The Ah-ha Moments โ Issue 4

I wanted to do shoutouts to authors, and I was going to do it in a newsletter, but everyone is doing one of those, it seems. I recently deleted most of the ones I subscribed to and didnโt even read the ones I think are stellar.
I decided that starting my own was not the best investment of my time. However, I still wanted to put together a piece highlighting things I learned or authors that made me laugh hysterically -in a good way.
As we move closer to Thanksgiving week here in the US, it has me thinking about gratitude and giving thanks. Sometimes, the simplest things make me happy or fill me with joy, like the smell of a fragrant candle burning as I work or petting a stray cat that bounces across the street to meet me while out on my daily walk.
This leads me to my first read to share that makes me go ๐ค
While letting things go and maintaining boundaries is valuable, itโs also important not to do it at the expense of ourselves or others.
Caring, letting people in, and being grateful for experiences rather than cutting ourselves off and not giving a f$&% are necessary for personal growth.
I was reminded of that this week by an article by William Adams.
This one also had me going ๐ค
This one is a clever story by Michelle Teheux. She provides a way to save us countless amounts of money by reading Benjamin Franklin, who she described as the original self-help guru.
Who woulda thunk it? But after reading this, it was making me go ๐ค
Next up is another one that will make you ๐ค
This is a sad and heartfelt one by S.M. Whiddonabout the death of her neighbor. It struck a chord with me โ two older men in my neighborhood with whom I used to chat with on my daily walks passed away this year.
It makes you think and realize the impact people have on our lives.
This, too, will have you going ๐ค
I enjoyed this piece by Robin Wilding ๐. I initially thought spooning and forking must be a euphemism for, well, you know.
To my surprise, there is a spoon theory concept that has nothing to do with cuddling or sex. Itโs all about energy limitations and dealing with chronic fatigue.
Itโs worth the read, especially if you struggle with energy levels like I do.
Finally, this last one will have you rolling ๐๐๐
I read this by Martha Manning, Ph.D. a while back. It had me hysterically laughing from start to finish.
This is undoubtedly the most hilarious piece Iโve come across, easily the highlight of my readings, especially on Medium.
If you havenโt read my most recent post, it, too, will have you ๐
Since this is my list, I will also shamelessly promote my most recent publication.
Why?
Because I can, and that should also make you go ๐
Happy Reading!
In the meantime, I will keep discovering, keep laughing, and keep the โah-haโ moments coming. So, Stay tuned for more exciting thoughts next time that will make you go Hmmm ๐ค or LOL ๐.
