Inspiration Leads To Clarity
Dancing Elephants Press Promt 9/52

What Inspires You?
Many things inspire me. It depends on the day and sometimes my mood. It can be as simple as the melody of a bird’s song on a crisp spring day, a colorful sunrise to greet the day cheerfully, or a sunset to say goodnight.
Other times it is deeper, though. It is seeing someone do something loving and kind for someone else without wanting anything in return. Or, an innocent child who discovers they can do something for the very first time and they express innocent joy.
“There’s no need to be perfect to inspire others. Let people get inspired by how you deal with your imperfections.” ~Author Unknown
I love the above quote because, honestly, some people who inspire me the most are the imperfect ones. But, They are trying. They are the ones who dare to be themselves and take risks. I admire that immensely.
You never know. You may be inspiring someone without even being aware. We flutter about in our daily lives and that is the beauty is that most of the time we are unaware of how much we touch the lives of those around us. It is precious when someone takes the time to thank us for the quote posted that improved their day, or the smile shared. People complain more than they tout praises it seems, but believe me, they notice.
What Inspiration Does For Us
Inspiration spurs gratitude in us. When we are grateful, it puts us in positive energy and in a positive mindset. Positive thoughts produce positive outcomes. A positive attitude also increases self-esteem and allows us to overcome obstacles and deal with life stressors. Inspiration allows us to problem-solve.
Different people find inspiration in various places. Some find it in art, music, cooking, cars, water, mountains, etc. Inspiration is all around us if you are open to seeing it.

Inspiration can motivate you to finish projects or even get out of bed in the morning. Bright decor, fresh paint on the walls, and even new throw pillows may inspire you. A walk in the sun and some fresh air can also do a world of good to boost our mood.
