Insightful and Heartfelt Articles I Enjoyed This Week

This week I enjoyed reading and getting to know so many amazing writers here in the Illumination publication. I am relatively new to the publication and it is a very new space on medium. However, I have felt so at home here and so in awe of the amazing beings that are here with us. Thank you all for sharing your hearts and your stories.
Here are a few articles that I really enjoyed this week:
I really have enjoyed reading @Daniella Mini articles on stoicism. It is a topic I really find pertinent to these times and she is a master of discussing in detail quotes by Seneca in this article. I love the points that she brings up and how she weaves examples from our own lives in so that we may apply it.
Another writer this week I have really come to enjoy reading is @Aurora Eliam, CMP She has a fantastic way of guiding us towards hope and joy, especially in these times. I love how she uses the writings of Eric Fromm to teach us about hope and to best cope and thrive in these times. Thank you Aurora for giving us more than hope, for giving us courage and conviction too.
I have had the joy of getting to know and reading the wonderful writer @Kevin Buddaeus I particularly enjoyed the article he wrote on why he writes. I have noticed that he really cares about other writers, shares about them and appreciates when they respond to his work. I appreciate that so much about him and I know that we can all learn so much from him as he is such a prolific writer.
Another author that has caught my attention is @KeepingItRealWithAnnick She wrote an amazing article on conscious parenting that was very thought provoking this week. I really appreciate her perspectives and what she brings to light in this article. We can often get stuck in old patterns. This really resonated with me. I thank her for writing about so many enlightening topics right now.
@Michele Thill wrote a beautiful piece this week about play. I loved this article so much because it brings up the fact that as adults we don’t think of play anymore. It is something that really should come back into our lives and she explores how we can do that right now. Thank you for your thoughful words Michelle!
@Marlane Ainsworth is a fantastic writer who focuses on mindfulness. I love how she talks about the Beatle’s song “Let It Be” and how we can let go of expectations for a while and let things flow. Then, answers will come. I find this is so important in the times we are living in now. It made me pause and think a lot about what I was expecting and how I could slow down right now.
I really appreciate @Bill Abbate I enjoyed reading his article this week on personal vision because I believe that it is the perfect time for us to really think about where we are going in life and what our vision is. How can we get there? He guides us through some steps to create our vision which are so helpful!
This article by Kathryn A. LeRoy, Ph.D. is one I really loved. I love how she talks about her daily yoga practice and how she sets intentions. I believe we are all starting to live a more intentional life and she helps us to see how we can go about that. Thank you for this beautiful article!
Finally, I want to give a big, big shout out to the lovely Chris Hedges 🦄 who is going above and beyond to help market Illumination writers! She shares in this article on how her efforts are going. I am excited to participate and learn more. Thank you Chris!
It was such a joy to read so many amazing articles and get to know so many talented writers. I’ll be back next week to share more!
With lots of love,
Trista
