Inizio, Beginning

Resonating with my mothertongue

The struggle has been real. I couldn’t come up with anything in English, even after my brainstorming. My mind was wrapped up in that Italian word “Inizio”. I had to follow it. The translation comes below.

Inizio speriamo non di un precipizio

Almeno non un altro supplizio

Solstizio passato equinozio quasi arrivato

Anno nuovo propizio degno di piu’ che di un novizio

Lasciando tutti gli strazi attendo frizzante verdi spazi magici arazzi allegri sollazzi

Che bell’inizio!

Translation from the Italian version. All rhymes are lost. Hope you’ll enjoy it anyway. I had some help from Google translator. I bet ChatGPT would find the rhymes, or, you could suggest them in the comment section.

Beginning let’s hope not of a precipice

At least not another torture

Past solstice almost equinox arrived

Auspicious new year worthy of more than a novice

Leaving all the torments glittering awaiting green spaces magical tapestries * happy entertainment

What a great beginning!

I chose the Track A- Looking forward to new beginnings, excited about what is to unfold, a promising future, and letting go of the old. Feeling good about burying the past, giving a closure and moving on in the hope of new pastures, new beginnings.

Thank you Paper Poetry for providing such stimulating prompt.
