Writers on Medium making more money when their stories get curated, but there is a twist to the story.

Openly admitting that my medium curation rate is 0% is not a good thing for being writers, but it is just because I am writing on Medium about Medium on Medium. I also write about search engine optimization, blogging, Quora (I have just spent a lot of time on this platform) and digital marketing in general.

Yesterday, a Quora famous writer request me an answer about the most frustrating part of the Medium, in future, I might write a story about it too but the most frustrating part of being on Medium is not getting curated and the way they pay you, you will make less money if a person has more internal traffic then external. In short, Medium needs more than one way to let users paid for their articles.

I joined Medium partner program at the very beginning of the year 2020, here is how much money I have made in these three months.

In the very first month, in January, I have made a lam Sum of $5. I have a theory, if you can make the first cent on a platform, the chances are you could make whatever money you imagine.

In the second month, I have made $44. That’s a 900% increase. I am happy.

In the third month, as of writing this article, the date is 23rd March and I have made over $50. That’s means I have 9 days left in the third month. I am expecting to reach $70.
