Summary

The web content reflects on a multiverse where a relationship continues unchanged, juxtaposed with a current reality where the same relationship is tumultuous and cyclical.

Abstract

The text paints a picture of an alternate dimension within the multiverse where a once shared life remains intact and unchanged, filled with the mundane and intimate details of daily life. In this dimension, the couple remains together, enjoying simple routines and moments of closeness. However, in the reality the narrator inhabits, the relationship is fraught with conflict, characterized by excessive drinking, fighting, and a pattern of breaking up and reconciling. Despite the turmoil, there is an acknowledgment that a peaceful version of their relationship exists somewhere in the multiverse. The content also includes links to related works titled "Salt Skin" and "Saturday Morning Dialogue," suggesting a thematic connection to the narrative.

In the Multiverse

there is a dimension somewhere in the multiverse where i never left your side our bed is still in the same house the nightstand drawer still filled with pens and paper sex toys previously read books a bottle opener a bag of weed

out in the vast darkness of space and time somewhere we are still waking up making breakfast together taking our morning stroll to the dock hand in hand ordering coffees at the french market

in this reality far too often we still drink to excess we fight we scream at each other we break up and sooner or later we are back together again to repeat the cycle to pretend that we understand love

somewhere out there we still exist

but not here

here it is much more peaceful
