In Nature’s Nurturing Embrace

A poem

Vidya Sury ©

In the silence of dawn, lies solace in the whispering leaves, that dance to the rhythm of the wind, and gently sway to the melody of peace.

Beneath the canopy of trees, I am but a fleeting visitor, Lost in the vastness of the wilderness, Yet strangely at home in its embrace.

As my feet walk the earth, Each step communing with nature, I feel my steady heartbeat, my wandering soul Each breath, a prayer to the universe.

Reaching out, I touch the rough bark, To enjoy the pulse of life at my fingertips, A connection ancient and profound, That binds me to this sacred place.

In the stillness of the forest, There’s clarity in the chaos of the world, As birdsong fills the air, And the sun breaks through from above.

Here, this serene moment a reminder of my place in the web of life, A mere thread in the fabric of existence, Yet infinitely connected to all around me.

I stand in awe of nature’s beauty, humbled by its power, For in its presence, I see the simple truth.

We are all part of something greater and when we connect with nature, We find ourselves.
