In My Dreams

What will it take that dreams might come true?

In my dreams the sky is blue the sun is warm the breeze is cool.

The sea is calm the waters clear the people swim they have no fear.

The children laugh as they play they have no need to hide away.

And in the cities there are no screams no more senseless war machines.

In my dreams there are no fears there is no killing there are no tears.

There’s peace on earth good-will it seems if only it wasn’t just in my dreams.
