Impermanence

A poem

Photo by Ömer Faruk Tokluoğlu on Unsplash

Where there is life There is death but It doesn’t take away the Purpose of your breath

Live life like you Revel in the tune of your fervent song Bask in the scent of your dearest book Immerse in the show that got you hooked Whiff in the aroma of the meal you cook

You know they come with an end But you don’t stop halfway You know they are impermanent You still decide to stay You choose to ride the Roller coaster of emotions The end only adds more wonder To these wonderful creations They don’t seem useless Rather, they make you fluoresce Without worrying they’ll pass You just enjoy them while they last.
