I’m so looking forward to Christmas that I can hardly wait

I don’t know if you know but I’m a huge fan of Christmas and everything it stands for!

Many people are very attached to Christmas for the wrong reasons, consumerism often masks the real and important reason for Christmas, which is union.

When I was little I have to admit that my focus at Christmas was gifts and nothing else, luckily I had a very close family so I never knew what a familyless Christmas was.

Christmas for me is family, food, sharing, togetherness and now that I am an adult I even like giving gifts more than receiving them.

I think this is what growing up is.

I’m already thinking about how I’m going to decorate the house, the Christmas recipes, the wrapping papers, the Christmas songs to stay at home and on the streets, while you’re filled with wonderful lights welcoming around the city.

The time to set up the tree is also usually a wonderful moment and cherished by everyone here at home.
