I’m Humbled
A short poem to say how humble you guys make me. Inspired by a comment from Matilda Fairholm
What started out as nothing, Is becoming something good. I’m absolutely gobsmacked, I didn’t know it would.
If I could make my money back, I thought, that’ll make me happy. And then I went and wrote that “Shart”, Nearly needed a nappy*.
I doubt I’ll get curated, But I’m never going to quit. Some rhymes are bloody awesome, But some are rather (Insert rhyming word here).
The reason why is simple enough, It’s because of a certain few. Who read and responded to my rhymes, If you’re tagged then yes, it’s you.
So, from my heart a big thank you, You’ve made this old man humble. Favourite Poet, Naughty Boy, Spike Milliganesque I cannot grumble.
Honestly, Thank you all for your kind words and support (and prompts lol). I cannot list every comment here so why not have a look.
