So I guess this will be a rant.

I’m really NOT your plaything.

I’m not a special treat when you need something.

I’m not your staycation, getaway, or daily rendezvous.

I’m a REAL woman with work, life, family, and needs.

I am not there if and when you need me.

Getaway indeed.

“I need a break. A treat just for me”

Really. Nope. Fuck that shit.

Listen. If you can’t make meeting me for coffee happen, how are you supposed to get your playcation? It’s not gonna happen.

I am sorry that your life got messed around. I would never expect you to skip out on a work crisis. That always comes first.

But to treat me like I’m always going to be here, waiting for you…nope.

There is always something happening and I shouldn’t have to wait for you to get your shit together.

That is not happening.

I am not YOUR cookie.

I am the three-course meal, laid out in glorious color, fine bone china, sterling silverware, and lead crystal goblets. Served with a very fine wine that only a few palates can appreciate.

If you don’t have time to sit down and eat me right;

You don’t deserve my cookie.

I’ve got plenty more who like to eat well.

And they are hungry.

I think this one is cocky…we’ll see how long it lasts.
