And that’s okay

I fail at something every day, sometimes many at once, and every time I screw things up I feel a total dunce.

My failure might be very big, or else it may be small, but I don’t think one day has passed where I haven’t failed at all.

It hurts like hell to know I’ve failed. It’s hard to bear the sting. But never has one human lived who didn’t fail at something.

Not one of us is perfect, for perfection is a lie. So though my failures make me want to hide away and cry,

I pick me up and dust me off, and hold my head held high. I know that just cause I might fail, doesn’t mean I shouldn’t try.
