An invitation to bloggers to join Medium and amplify stories via ILLUMINATION

I am pleased to inform you that many bloggers discovered ILLUMINATION. I have been receiving a considerable amount of inquiries from non-Medium members who come across our exciting stories on various content marketing and social media platforms. I am honored and inundated with the growing inquires, therefore decided to create a story on the transition process.

One interesting and increasing inquiry type in my admin portal is from bloggers. Many bloggers want to syndicate their content to ILLUMINATION. These types of inquires are overwhelming.

Syndicating content from external blogs is unfortunately not possible due to the content development model of Medium. I want to add clarity for our external readers for the policy and processes of Medium.

To add content to publications on Medium, you need to have a Medium account and create your stories on the platform in the story formats. You can submit your stories to publications either in a draft or published format. Both have different pros and cons. Some publications only accept the draft format. ILLUMINATION is flexible; we accept both draft and published format.

One fun fact to share with you; Medium calls blog entries stories. The whole blog can resemble a publication with guest bloggers. You can get used to this cool novelty. One more fun fact, readers can highlight your stories and they can applaud showing their appreciation. We call them claps. We have no likes or dislikes; up-vote or down-vote. We either applaud or stay silent to show our reaction to stories. Overall, Medium is a unique platform for bloggers.

We recently had many bloggers who joined Medium and transitioned to our publication successfully. They started sharing their content on ILLUMINATION and gained benefits. Once you join we can articulate the benefits of our publication and overall Medium content platform. We have a mentorship initiative, so you can choose mentors from our experienced writers.

We embrace diversity, value fresh voices, and amplify messages of our 1500+ writers in unique ways. Even though it would be ideal to become a subscribed member which provides many benefits, you can still join ILLUMINATION with your basic membership. I shared my views on return on investment (ROI) for writers in the attached bulletin.

My understanding is that based membership allows only limited reading times so it can be difficult to engage and collaborate with other writers on the platform and our publication. ILLUMINATION writers produce successful results because they engage and collaborate with readers and other writers. Prolific writers of ILLUMINATION are also prolific readers.

We encourage bloggers to try Medium and join our publication as a writer. We will help you transition to this rich content platform. Once you join Medium, please send me a writer request with your Medium account ID from this link.
