Illuminating Illumination-Curated Star Writers
Some of the best of the best writers we have right here. It could be you!

I was trying to think of a theme to carry me through this review and the only thing I could think of was how much I got from reading each and every one of the following articles by some of our best writers on Illumination Curated. Let's start with.....
Thewriteyard, Carol Price, now a fellow editor, is somebody who always delivers in terms of offering something of value, something useful that you can take away. here in this article she highlights the damaging effects of nagging. But the killer is the very funny way in which at the end of the article she shows a great way to get around the problem.
Terry Mansfield can write highly informative pieces, or things that just make you want to chuckle or laugh out loud to yourself. Here Terry has written 25 poems, each one a gem. The man knows life and all its trials and tribulations and he takes life quite seriously, but not that seriously.
Neeramitra Reddy made me laugh with this wonderful story of embarrassment as a youngster. What happened was something that could happen to the best of us. But the effect can be really quite impactful for a long long time. I personally thought it was hilarious. Sorry Neeramitra.
All my life all I have ever heard, or said for that matter, is 'Think Positive!' This article by Side Chung offers a refreshing view of thinking negatively. I think it is the first and only time anybody has said to me 'Think Negative!' Rock on, at last, it's ok to be negative.
Oh I so love this article by Primal Dhillon. In fact, this is pure genius. I now have a plan for what I did to my kids all those years ago to such an extent they will never ever speak to me again! Result!
Geetika Sethi is another fellow editor who always offers enlightenment in one way or another. She is a great poet for a start. She is also a great writer, as you will see from the article below. However, more than that, she is a truly lovely person who lights up the whole atmosphere wherever she goes.
Ok, a bit of shameless self-promotion here I'm afraid. Like everybody else I like to have a laugh, mostly at life and the absurdity of it all. But mostly I laugh out loud at myself and my own pathetic inadequacies. I must admit, it is one of my better pieces. But don't just take my word for it, the words 'Absolutely Hilarious'' were heard echoing all around the platform and beyond.
Ok, so here is where I have to adopt a slightly more serious tone. And that is because the following writer, who also has a great sense of humour, Dr Mehmet Yildiz helps to extend the readers knowledge of things not widely known. There is so much to learn from this man, you'd be a fool not to listen when he speaks.
Rebecca Romanelli is yet another great writer who we can learn an awful lot from. In the article below, Rebecca explores the intriguing world of dreams. It is a field I have often wondered about and here I discovered many answers to my questions. It really is an excellent read.
Rebecca Stevens A. is a highly influential writer here on Illumination Curated, and deservedly so. I read the article below when it was published and it really hit home what it is like to be on the wrong end of racism. Rebecca has written about this problem before and I admire her tenacity as well as her writing skills and talent. Have a read and see why.
Allison Gaines is another writer who brings our attention to the gross inequalities towards black people in a riveting piece about Ida Wells. It is a subject that needs to be talked about and this writer does so ever so eloquently.
Crystal Jackson has identified in great detail how to get the most out of your social marketing with a very detailed 7 step plan. So if you want to know how to make the most of your engagement with your target audience, without feeling like you're torturing yourself, start right here.
Robert Trakofler is a poet extraodinaire who I first came across as an editor. His poem 'Motion' is so stunningly beautiful it floored me as soon as I read it. However, the article below is about Robert and his life. For the first time I found myself reading about somebody who had as rough a start in life as me. It is a highly moving account of Robert's early and subsequent life and the challenges he faced. Prepare to be moved.
Amanda Gabbard I would like you to know that as a father of four unruly children, I too so loved scaring the living daylights out of my own children. At times it was the only way to counter their shennanigans. The thing is, I’m not quite sure who was left more traumatised by their childhood, me or them, though truth be told, I think it was me.
Agnes Laurens is another fellow editor who is dearly loved by all, and with good reason. Agnes has a lovely way of capturing the essence of something in very few words. Take a look at this highly emotive poem, which ends with nothing more than a line of dots suggesting loss, a loss of words, a loss of somebody well loved, just as Agnes is.
And last but not least we have Kevin Farran. I have liked Kevin's writing from the get-go, but I especially like this, if only because it proves I am not the only only one to put his big fat foot in his own mouth. " Gumpheeeeew!"
Well that's all for now folks.....well not quite. If you feel like having a few more laughs please feel free to explore any of my other articles below. Just don't be drinking a hot foamy coffee anywhere near the keyboard. I cannot be held responsible for your laughing out loud.
