If You’re Not About Making Money Online, Give Bartending a Try.

Not everyone is cut out to be a content creator. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other options.

I recently wrote a blog about the perks and pros of bartending (and the cons, too, to be fair), and it inspired me to think more about what else I could share.

So I got to thinking and quickly realized not everyone is interested in creating an online business or side hustle.

Not everyone strives to become their own boss, and that’s totally okay.

However, the online space has been flooded with information on how to do this, and that’s not helpful to those who are not striving for it.

Just because some people don’t want to pursue making money online, it doesn’t mean there aren’t alternatives to create more flexibility or make financial gains.

I love the online space and what it has allowed us to do. I love writing and sharing my thoughts and ideas.

I also love giving information and options to people who are not necessarily interested in becoming content creators or bloggers.

Side note — if you’re forcing yourself to do something you don’t enjoy, you won’t last doing it. For example, I tried other business ventures but always kept coming back to writing.

At that point, you’re wasting your time and probably money.

Instead, I would suggest thinking about what activities or side jobs interest you and reaching out to a friend or family member who is a part of the industry and asking them for advice.

Knowing someone who is in the industry will help you significantly.

So If you’re looking for other ways to make more money but are not interested in figuring out anything related to the online space, bartending can be an option.

Why? Simple, the money and flexible hours.

Bartending is the kind of job that allows you to make a lot of money in a short period of time.

If you’ve read my other blogs, you know I’ve been able to make over $500 in cash in a single evening.

And if you’re disciplined with this additional income, you’ll be able to make huge investments toward your financial future — maybe treat yourself here and there along the way.

I’ve lost so much money in crappy investments, but thanks to bartending, I’ve been able to earn back the money I lost, and I’m making my way to building a solid financial foundation for my future.

One of the most helpful factors of bartending is that you don’t necessarily need to give up the job you’re doing right now.

If you like what you do but would like some extra cash on the side, bartending can be a great option.

Most restaurants and bars need staff on the weekends, so if you work Monday through Friday, you may have the availability to make it work.

You don’t necessarily need to be on a set schedule either.

A lot of busy bars and restaurants have what they call a sub-list — people who can be called last minute to cover a shift in case they are short-staffed or someone who was scheduled to work on a given day needs somebody to cover their shift.

Another aspect I like about bartending is that it’s partially a physical job — You’re on your feet and moving the entire time.

When you’re busy, time flies by, and all of a sudden, you’re done with your shift.

In addition to this, no day is ever the same.

You will deal with different people and different tasks every single time. This keeps things fresh and interesting.

Overall, bartending can be fun.

It’s a complete switch up from working in an office or from home — I’ve done both.

Bartending, depending on where you work, can be a lot of fun. And what better way to make money than having fun with what you’re doing?
