Summarize

If We’re Meant to Be

Come stay with me

What if we’re meant to be two, as one of us over here thinks we should do

What if we’re destined to come back together, casting our doubts and all kinds of weather

What if it’s true that distance and time make the heart grow fonder

With years behind us, I’m beginning to wonder

What if our love is like a hot cup of tea, steeping for longer, now it tastes much stronger

What if we don’t wait for the perfect time, and eagerly revisit where our hearts want to chime

What if we find a duet to sing, as the music gets sweeter the more love we bring

What if you’re meant to be holding me tight, snuggled beside me throughout the night

When daylight comes, you’ll see me with eyes open wide, no longer searching when I’m by your side

What if we’re meant to stop wondering why

If we have faith and take a chance, I’m sure we can fly
