It will help you make four figures

Most recently, Medium shocked everyone by giving $500 to the best writers. I am one of those 1000 writers, and it was quite surprising for me. I was quick at writing a post on it because I wasn’t happy. Money is not something that can bring a smile to my face. It is my family and friends. However, it doesn’t mean I will not write. I have made my mind to publish at least one story on weekends and two stories from Monday to Friday.

What About Those Who Didn’t Get The $500 Bonus?

If you are one of the writers who had produced mass content but didn’t get the bonus, please don’t worry. Medium may choose you for a surprise gift the next time. I can say this because it now has so many competitors, with Newsbreak being the major one. When Newsbreak announced their Creator Program, so many Medium writers applied for it because they promised to give at least $1000 per month.

Now Newsbreak has announced a Monetization Program that guarantees $1500 a month if someone publishes 25 stories a month and gets a score of 5 to 10 out of 10. If the scores are below 5, the content creator will get $25 a post rather than $60. This is not the end of the story. They are paying $4 to $12 per 1000 views based on the quality of an article and its score.

Vocal Media is another competitor of Medium. They keep announcing contests and pay thousands of dollars to the winners. Besides, they pay $3 to $6 per 1000 reads. Premium or paid members get more benefits than free members.

I am telling you all this because Medium can ensure their survival only if they continue giving decent money to the most hardworking writers. If you work hard and continue publishing for a certain time, you may be the next to get $500 or more in bonus.

How To Earn Four Figures Writing On Medium?

It is very easy. You need to be consistent and don’t have to worry about top publications and curation. When I started my Medium journey, I wasn’t making enough money. I kept publishing stories and didn’t give up. I didn’t even care about curation and top publications. The previous month, I made my first $1000 and got a bonus as well. I am now a four-figure Medium writer, and will soon earn my first six figures.

You cannot make money writing on Medium if you don’t publish at least five times a week. I know that you have many other things to do. I know that you are doing a full-time job, have a family to take care of, and own a house to look after. However, all these things will not ensure your success on Medium. On this highly competitive website, the rule of survival of the fittest is applied. He who works hard survives, and those who aren’t much active are pushed behind the race.

You need to write regularly even if your work is not being accepted by top Medium publications. You must have a story to tell to the target audience even if Medium curators are not choosing your work for further distribution. It is one of the most important things. This is what I have done so far to succeed. If you need any type of help, you may join my Facebook group and newsletter where free advice is given to everyone.
