If I Pause…Will You Listen?
Poetry Prompt day:-20

If I pause will you listen? I mean, really listen? So the murmurs of the sea bed Become the waves of strength Even when I stop to cry inside
If I pause will you listen? Will you help me find a way Above the eye cloud That openly forms And breathes that heavy sigh of life
Will you….
Slow down and witness the uncontrollable Like the air that strays around your neck Invisible, yet silently holding your ring of worries Lifting the souls of your feet So step by step The shadow of self walks
Time has no meaning As your heart has withered in the days gone by Playing jagged piano keys from yesterday Like the rhythm of tomorrows scream
So time darts between the veins Hides along the skin maps Evading clots Passing and caressing your healing discs Not waiting to assess your fate
If I pause…
