I Will Not Call Them A Plagiarist
I am never going to blame any writer who is inspired by my work…
What I am here for? I joined the site to change the trend of depending excessively on publications and curation to get noticed. I didn’t come here to make money, as I have had many other income sources too.
In just a few weeks, I have been able to make $7 to $10 daily and have gained over 4,000 followers on both of my profiles (Kiran Yasmin and K-Star).
All of my followers know that I publish up to 25 posts a week. There is no way to know which topic has been covered on this site and which one is not yet covered. I had written a crime story on Hannah Potts. She faked her kidnapping and blamed a black man for no reason.
This story was published by another writer, and after reading my post, they began blaming me and called me a plagiarist. I was forced to take action because they were probably trying to gaslight readers. From no angle, my story was similar to their article.
There Is A Difference Between Plagiarism And Inspiration
In my opinion, plagiarism is when somebody copies your content and doesn’t give you credit. On the other hand, inspiration is when someone is inspired by your work and tries to write the way you write.
Most recently, one of my followers has written an article on sleeping positions that I had written weeks ago. However, this is not plagiarism according to me. I am glad that the other writer is inspired by my work and has decided to follow in my footsteps. Here is the screenshot of their story; the link to my story is also given.

Stop Criticizing New Writers
To every senior writer who thinks that they are the best, my request is that stop blaming and criticizing new writers. Just like you and me, they are here to make some money and to improve their writing skills. They need help, guidance, and support, and I am always happy to assist my fellows in the best possible ways.
The purpose of writing this story is to let everyone know that our focus should be on our writing and on supporting each other. There should be no room for criticism. This site has hundreds to thousands of writers and various stories are published every day.
No one knows whether the story they are writing has been covered by another person or not. So, if you accidentally read their story and consider them a plagiarist, then you need to change your mind.
How To Avoid Plagiarism?
Whether you are a senior writer or a newcomer, you will have the idea that plagiarism is not tolerated on any website and by any company. Here are the easiest ways to avoid plagiarism.
- Always write from your heart and use your own words to convey particular messages.
- Choose a title or headline that looks good to you. Once the title or headline has been chosen, you can make a quick search to see if it has been covered by someone else or not. If no, then you can proceed with it.
- If you are to copy a sentence or two from someone’s work, then please give them proper credit.
