An Addicts View.
I Was Cold. I Was Naked. Were You There?.
Your Addictions Outlook Poem.
I was cold. I was naked. Were you there?. Were you there?.
I was lonely. I was lost. Were you there?. Were you there?.
I was homeless. I was hungry. Were you there?. Were you there?.
I was high. I was euphoric. Were you there?. Were you there?.
I was elated. I was ecstatic. Were you there?. Were you there.?
I was low. I was in a dark place. Were you there.? Were you there.?
I was bereft. I was anxious. Were you there.? Were you there.?
I was empty. I was suicidal. Were you there.? Were you there.?

I was cold. I was naked. I was an addict!
Were you there?
Unfortunately, the answer to this problem in most cases more often than not nobody was there.
That what’s being an addict is really about.
You’re in the most isolated and lonely location a human being can be.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Ask for help.
You’re the whole world and you deserve to be there.
You have meaning and worth and you deserve to be there.
You’re a living and breathing human being.
You can be there.
