Become a Better Writer
I Used To Be a Lazy Nobody (Until I Failed Everyday For 18 Months)
How many times are you willing to fail for what you love?

Recently, someone described me as a workaholic.
This is a label I never would’ve attributed to myself. In high school and college, I was super lazy. I somehow skated through my education without completing any homework assignments.
The truth is, I never really needed to apply myself.
I was always able to just skate by.
I started writing online 18 months ago.
This past year, my work ethic has completely transformed. Every single day, I work. Even when I’m not working, I’m thinking about work. My work has become my number one obsession.
I work so much because I love the work I do. There’s real passion in everything I create.
There’s a real bitter truth when it comes to writing online: If you don’t absolutely love it, you’ll never get anywhere.
As a writer, you will fail. A lot.
If you want to write, you have to accept you will be working for peanuts for a long time.
Until you get your big break, you need to make peace with failure.
If you don’t love writing enough to accept the idea of failing for at least a year, you’ll never get anywhere as a writer.
