I thought I have been through those times

When you would say, and I would listen, When I would cry, and you wouldn’t see, When you stay how you are, but I wouldn’t be me. I thought I have been through those times, When I question things, and you just claim, When you are the victim, and I am the one to blame, When we would talk it out, but everything would stay the same. I thought I have been through those times, When I say sorry and you would say sorry too, When we would disagree about a thing or two, When you and I both would feel like a fool. I thought I have been through those times, When my heart would break, but I would revive, When pain would hurt, but it wouldn’t affect my life, What a fool I can be sometimes, Thinking I have been through those times, When in reality, it is nothing, but lies.
