I See You Time, Coming After Me

Eight ways of looking at a clock

Photo by Jon Tyson on Unsplash

Among twelve endless numbers only movement caught by a glimpse found a pin of continuance

Accounts of birth of my day wind in the brisk stream of daily occurrences captured in a timeless face

Close of days gone by wound backward in my mind fleeting moments pass by unnoticed

Hypnotic hour entranced in mind’s eye a floating black hole of thoughts emotions unleashed, rejected

Travelers’ time cards punched zones of passing air hours lost or gained picked up with ideas new

History remembered and recorded respoken lonely words afterthoughts of untold stories

Here, now in motion cycling figures ever-fixed no stopping or escaping empty breathless gasps

Passions lying on a cloud future hopes not yet unmasked waiting on silent ticking stop, listen, death noted
