TRAVEL

I Saw Fruits On A Stick in Malaysia

Would you buy this?

I was confused for a second. This looks kind of funny! (photo provided by Linda Ng)

Many years ago, I visited Malaysia for the first time. Everything was so new to me. I loved the excitement of discovering what is hiding around the corner. That’s why I travel. In Malaysia, I was surprised by a lot of things. It is perfectly normal for Malaysians, but it’s amazing to me.

One of the things that intrigued me was how they sold fruit. You can see it in the picture above. They put it on a stick and you just choose what you like. Then they put it in a little bag for you. Depending on what you choose, you can also season it with some powder! I didn’t know what the powder was, but I thought the whole process was so fun. 😂

I didn’t have to cut fruit myself. I love to eat fruit, so I’m always peeling and cutting it. It’s so nice to have someone prepare it for you. You can never have too much fruit either. It’s especially refreshing when you’re feeling so hot in Malaysia.

Imagine they sold durian on a stick! LOL. Do you think they would get complaints from people? (photo provided by Linda Ng)

I am completely delighted over fruit being sold in this fashion. I will continue to buy fruit when I’m visiting Malaysia! Did I mention the prices? It’s very cheap! You can easily incorporate something healthy in your diet while travelling!
