I Quit Notion For a Month, and Here’s Why I Came Back

I realized Notion is the only life savior for me.

Designed On Canva

I heard about Notion a lot when it first became popular a few years ago. However, I tried it mainly for gathering information and writing my blog pieces.

Though there were monthly restrictions in place at the time, as a result, I gave up on it.

When I converted to the Mac, I also started using Bear as my main note-taking program.

Notion’s ability to be used on several devices swayed my decision to switch to the free version. I frequently used it to draught emails, but I also occasionally used it to record work.

I also return to Notion because it matters to me.

You don’t realize how meticulous and organized your job is until you lay down the steps you take to get from A to B, like many other things in life.

Notion actively participating in each stage of the process also caught my attention. Everything is held together by it like glue. Without it, there would be no cohesive storyline across my work and no connection between my blogs, videos, review units, or future content plans.

This is crucial if you want to launch a content or influencer brand successfully. Even though I’m sure there are plenty of folks who can get by with a basic spreadsheet or Trello account, my mind requires much more support and motivation if I develop a cohesive brand.

The Notion is my compass, content repository, goal-setter, and planning tool.

1. Save and Organize Bookmarks With Notion

Of course, your browser probably has a bookmarks feature too, but creating one in Notion will advance the process of preserving your links.

Its bookmark block is simple to use, and the outcome is attractive.

Download the Notion Web Clipper browser plugin to let you grab links with a single click if you want to keep things as easy as possible.

Instead, the program makes it simple to create them by prompting you to create bookmarks as you copy and paste your URLs.

In the end, your library will seem like you spent a lot of time on it, while it only took a few minutes to reorganize and rearrange your bookmarks.

2. Monitor Your Goals While Also Keeping Everything Else in Mind

Not every Notion is a project or a task. You can make notes on and track anything with its tremendous level of customization, including your goals.

You can track things even while you’re not at your computer by downloading the Notion software to your phone to simplify things easier.

3. Notion’s Mind Mapping

Without a doubt, Notion is a fantastic planning tool. You can use it to help you develop plans in the first place and organize them.

To build a mind map in Notion, open a new page and jot down your thoughts.

Use the text editor, databases, photos, links, and anything else that adds value to get everything out at this point without worrying about the organization or making things perfect.

The editing stage follows, where you go over your mind map and then use it to generate project outlines.

Even if you don’t use anything you wrote, you’ll at least be aware that the concept has been considered before.

4. It Keeps Record

Using Notion to keep track of things like weekly meetings or the tasks you do for a project can also be a good idea.

You can write down the facts, such as who joined the forum, what contributions each team member made, or the steps you took to solve a particular problem, and then process them later.

You can keep a record of whatever you want!

Remember that Notion is free for private and personal use. Still, you must select one of the payment alternatives, either personal or corporate, if you wish to use it as a team or to access certain additional features, including viewing the data history.

Final Words.

Notion is an effective tool for planning, organizing, and innovating how you and your company operate.

Make it your own; it is truly a clean canvas.

Without a doubt, Notion is undoubtedly the most helpful piece of software I’ve come across in the past few years.

Could you give it a go?
