Testing A New Sneaky Income Strategy
I’ve been marketing since my college days and to be honest, it was quite a long, slow and tedious grind trying to find what worked and what was obviously a scam. I’m embarrassed to say how much money I’ve spent on it — let’s just say this is in NO WAY a get rich quick scheme.
Recently, I’ve been experimenting with paid traffic to see if it’s still viable in 2023. Spoiler alert: IT IS!
Now, $135 in a day isn’t exactly anything worth writing home to, but I thought it’s a pretty good start and a very promising result for my campaign. I’m sure I could scale this up to six figures if I continued.
The Setup — How I Found My Campaign
Now, I don’t exactly recommend paid traffic for complete affiliate beginners. It’s a bit too risky, especially if you don’t know how to convert traffic by setting up awesome landing pages.
The whole point of buying traffic is to flip it for a higher amount than you purchased it for.
This is like selling $10 for $20, it’s really quite a profitable little business if you can set it up. And there’s no need to wait for weeks/months like you would if you’re trying to do organic SEO — you can theoretically set everything up in an afternoon.
If you’re still curious, this is how I did it:
Anstrex
Anstrex is a marketing tool that allows you to spy on what your competitors are doing, their landing pages, and general marketing strategies. Using it, you can get a fairly decent approximation of what your ROI would be if you ran a certain campaign.
I really can’t stress how important a spying tool is while doing any sort of marketing. You’re basically completely blind without one.
I found all of my campaigns and best converting landers from Anstrex. I gain nothing from telling you my method, so a follow would be appreciated 🤗.
Can you imagine how much worse my ROI would be if, instead, I decided to just experiment with traffic, offers and landing pages? Why re-invent the wheel?
Another thing, Anstrex comes with a landing page scraper, so you can download it, edit it and repost it for yourself. Anyway, I think you get the picture.
By the way, it’s not the only spying tool out there, feel free to use whatever you’re comfortable with!
Push Ads
I decided to use push ads instead of other traffic source for ONE reason alone:
It’s much, much cheaper and still is of reasonable quality (clearly).
Personally, I’ve nearly destroyed my bankroll trying facebook traffic, google ads, pop ups, etc… I was never able to figure them out. Now, I’m not saying it’s impossible to make money with other traffic sources….but I personally haven’t been able to. If you’re skilled with PPC, maybe you can make it work.
So, that’s it for now! I’ll keep updating you guys on how my journey goes. I hope, of course, to reach $1000/day one day…and it’s impossible to know how long a campaign will last. In the meantime, I’ll experiment with other income streams to see if I can continue to grow financially without putting all my eggs in one basket.
