It Took Me 17 Days To Sixfold My January Earnings

I have published new stories more or less on a daily basis, and often more than once. I have published 3–4 new stories within 24 hours on some occasions and this is what people usually tell you..

They tell you the importance of writing daily and I can’t deny that. We have dozens if not hundreds of stories each day about their Medium progress in one way or another. People share their success stories all over Medium so it’s impossible to ignore- or disagree with their facts and statements.

What many of these content creators don’t talk about so publically though, is the tremendous amount of effort they put in..

It’s not difficult to write one article per day. It’s not even that difficult to publish 3 or 4 short stories per 24 hours, as long as you keep your motivation and snowball with the momentum.

The tricky part is to gain exposure, and that doesn’t come naturally out of the blue just from pushing out stories a couple of times per day..

Engagement Is The Key That Unlocks The Gate To Visibility And Exposure

The Gate Of Exposure

Stories in all honor, long, short, high quality, low quality, earnings reports, interviews or news. It doesn’t really matter what type of stories you write..

Stories Alone Is Not Likely To Give You The Exposure You Need.. You Need More Than That.

I gain a little more than 10 new followers per day on average. I know that followers are just a number and doesn’t mean real, active or genuine engagement or interaction, but it’s still a fun number to keep track of..

While some people have far greater success than I have, in terms of earnings, followers and overall growth, I am excited and more motivated than ever..

However, These ~10 New Followers Doesn’t Come My Way From Just Publishing New Stories On A Daily Basis.

People come my way because I engage and interact with other people’s content. I still use my HCC approach, which basically means that I Highlight, Comment, and Clap when I interact with other’s content.

Doing things like that ensures that I spend a minimum of 30+ seconds every single time I click on someone’s story. More often than not, I spend roughly 5 minutes on each story I read.

  • That’s how I affect the read ratio for my fellow writer’s, long term.
