ALTERNATIVE HEALING
I Had a Heart Attack and Lived to Tell the Story
Why I consciously chose to avoid the ambulance ride.

“Trust in God, but tether your camel.” ~ Arabic Proverb
When COVID-19 first came on the scene, we learned that it impacted the most who had a compromised immune system.
Rather than making this knowledge available to the public, the powers be presented it in terms of people over a certain age and those who are taking too many prescription medications, though not in those exact words.
Strengthening the immune system was not encouraged as a long-term strategy while they work on a vaccine. Modern medicine becomes obsolete if the populace has a strong immune system.
Traditional and functional medicine, which sees health holistically, understands this and emphasizes building a strong immune system as a means of healthy living. I have always subscribed to this way of thinking.
When I had a heart attack, I chose to forego the conventional approach of calling an ambulance and going to the hospital. Instead, I relied on what they call alternative healing modalities, which are the traditional practices with thousands of years of successful track record.
I wrote about my experience in a story which is available in my publication, Freedom Lifestyle, and I am linking below.
That was more than five years ago. A year later, I walked the Route 66 — from Chicago to Santa Monica. And l am still living a healthy lifestyle. Sure, I face an occasional health challenge, but that is part of life.
As always, thank you for reading and responding.
