I Did It! I Met My Goal for December!

You can do it, too.

December 30, I was 51 cents away from my $5 goal for December. At $4.49, I was optimistic that I could reach my destination if I just pushed a little more. I had just published Donald Was A Terrible Boss. He had too many balls in the air the day before, the latest in a series of stories about idioms of the English language.

Success was so close I could taste it. I was also feeling euphoric about my return to writing after a two-year hiatus. I’d learned in 2019 that the key to making money was to build a library of quality stories. New content was also a critical element. Each new posting generates a little more income. It isn’t only the new story that produces income; each essay in the library contributes a little.

On December 31, I posted two more short pieces. “You Can Do This! You Can Be A Successful Writer” and “About Me — Harold Zeitung.”

Now, as I sit at the computer in the wee hours of January 1, 2022, I wish to thank all my fabulous followers, especially Jan Sebastian. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. Thanks to you, it appears I earned $5.03 for December 2021.
