I created a new eBook this weekend
How I did it and how you can copy me
Creating an eBook on a weekend can be done, especially with some practice. It only took me a few hours. When I was done, I had a polished eBook, ready to be sold online.
This is it if you want to see:
Creating ebooks is something I got into a few years ago. Since then, I’ve sold tens of thousands of dollars in ebooks!
I’ve read stories about authors making as much as $50K/month with ebooks. That’s a lofty goal to set so I’m starting at hitting a steady $5K/month in ebook sales.
What will get me there is a healthy ebook library.
Here’s how I plan to write those ebooks this year…
How to create an ebook on a weekend
I follow a strategy that has helped me generate content ideas, write and format books quickly and get them set up on my platform of choice, Gumroad.
My secret is using AI.
AI can help with everything from:
- Idea generation
- Creating chapter names
- Setting up the book layout
- And, more!
The tools I use are:
- ChatGPT
- Canva
- Google Docs
- Gumroad
ChatGPT is my AI tool of choice every time. I use other tools as well like KoalaWriter.
Canva is for graphic creation: making an ebook cover, creating images within your book, thumbnail creation, etc.
Google Docs are usually where I write, format, and edit the book.
Gumroad is the platform I use to upload the book and sell it online.
My 3-Hour Ebook book talks about each of my steps in more detail. It’s in my Millennial Bundle, which includes books about content creation, making money online with TikTok, and website flipping.
