I Could
But I won’t
I could talk about grace Walk for the freedoms, sights Murmur oddities, strangeness, Or of happiness and delights
I could sing about hope Do a dance for summer's rain Cry for all life's hardships Lament about all the pain
I could scream about grief Fall to my knees in the storm Laugh deranged, like a madman And hate what my past formed
But instead, I stay quiet Can't be bothered to try I'm content in sad silence As my dreams slowly die.
