I Choose Freedom
A poem in no particular form
I choose freedom, embracing each part of it
the right the joy the thrill the flexibility the solitude the responsibility the unpredictability the emancipation the price the pain the courage the peace the blessing
I choose freedom.
Because that’s what I came here to experience. The art at heart to saunter through this existence called life most uniquely.
I choose freedom.
Because that’s the only way my soul yearns. And even when frustration, fright, or loneliness tries to pull me back to the shackles of delusion.
I choose freedom.
Thank you for reading.
