I can’t believe this happened to me

I fuc*ed it up — Huge lesson learned

Yesterday I wrote a short post to reach the milestone of 100$.

I wanted that much to reach that.

I engaged people’s stories and asked them if they could read that post and support me.

And it happened.

The story got some views, some good reads, and some claps. For a single day, it’s not bad at all.

I was happy people understood my desire and wanted to help me. And I can’t be more than grateful for this.

My earnings get updated every morning somewhere between 8:15–8:30.

Stayed late last night, so I didn’t wake up too early. Now it’s 11:30 here. I got up from bed like 20 minutes ago. Don’t judge me, haha!

Anyway, I asked my oldest to bring me my phone.

When I go to stats, I see that my earnings went up with 2$. I said, ok. That’s it. Today I will get the rest. I still need 10$ to get that hundred.

I want it so much!

But then this happens!

I go to my stories where I see that my latest post has no earnings.

WTF?

I click on it, go back, I press on it again, WTF, again back…

I FORGOT TO PAYWALL THE STORY!

Imagine this!

Yesterday, I was in a rush, away from home, and I got the idea with the post. I posted it using my phone. The interface there is different. This is why I forgot to toggle the ‘Members only’ feature.

I am upset. I know I fuc*ed it up, and I am sorry to those who put their time into reading the post, even if it wasn’t paywalled.

Huge lesson learned!
