“I broke one dish, but it wasn’t my fault!”
After dinner, mother and daughter washed dishes together in the kitchen, while father and son watched TV in the living room.
The mother kept blaming the girl loudly for mistakes.
Suddenly, a crisp sound came out of the kitchen, then it became quiet. Next came sounds of running water and the occasional slight collision of tableware.
The son looked at his father.
“It must be mum! She has broken the dish.”
“How do you know that?”
“Well, she didn’t make a tone, otherwise she would have been much louder than before.”
Charity begins at home, and justice begins next door.
