I Believe Even Though I Have Not Seen

It’s because I have faith

Walking through life’s maze Searching for an exit Relying on my trust in God To help and guide the path ahead of me It is because of my faith I have a strong belief in the almighty It is not a feeling It is a reflection of the relationship I have with him

How is it that he exists if I have not seen?

Some believe in theories Some believe in myths Some believe in fairy tales They believe it is true because they have been convinced

Even though my mind can’t comprehend I choose to believe in his words “Faith is confidence in what we hope for Assurance about what we do not see.”

We all believe in something We embrace it and hold on to it That is the true essence of faith How powerful it is is determined by you and me

We have faith in many things. It doesn’t have to be spiritual. When you leave your home every day, you have confidence that you will return safely. When a loved one is sick and undergoing surgery, you have faith that the doctors are competent and all will go well. You believe that your loved one will survive the procedure and have a speedy recovery. Faith does not exist without trust. It is a powerful thing.
