Self-discovery Through Poetry Challenge Prompt:-14
Greetings poets,
Hope you all are doing great. I hope you are enjoying the prompts of the Lifeline Poetry Challenge.
“In my deepest, darkest moments, what really got me through was a prayer. Sometimes my prayer was 'Help me.' Sometimes a prayer was 'Thank you.' What I’ve discovered is that intimate connection and communication with my creator will always get me through because I know my support, my help, is just a prayer away.”
-Iyanla Vanzant
In my deep and dark moments, Prayer helps me to stay strong and have hope. We all have to go through the ups and downs of life. No matter, how hard we try we can not avoid the darkness in our life. Just like that, we don’t have any control over life.
Whenever you are going through hard times of life, remember if their darkness of night then the next day there will be a light of the sun. You just need a ray of hope to go through that darkness.
When you don’t find any ray of hope or you don’t find the support of anyone. Your faith will help you to go through the toughest moment of life. I always have faith in myself and God. I know when there will be no one to help me, I will have God standing behind me to show me the right direction in life.
If you don’t have faith in anyone else then it’s fine. However, you should always have faith in yourself and in God.
Therefore, today’s prompt is,
Do you believe faith is powerful? Why and why not? If yes, what do you have faith in?
“There are many things that are essential to arriving at true peace of mind, and one of the most important is faith, which cannot be acquired without prayer.”
-John Wooden
Prayer is a great thing. It makes you calm and provides mental peace. Faith and patience go hand in hand. Without patience, it’s hard to keep faith in yourself.
I would love to read and host your faith poems.
Have a great day all of you.
Looking forward to hosting your beautiful poems in Lifeline.
