Summary

The author, a former professional who transitioned to becoming an author, infopreneur, and Women's Wealth Coach, shares her personal journey of overcoming self-doubt and burnout by revisiting the teachings of Pam Grout's books "E Squared" and "E Cubed," which led to her rediscovering her ability to manifest desires and receive clear signs from the Universe about her path.

Abstract

The author recounts her experience of falling into the "comparison trap" after observing other coaches' apparent success, which contrasted with her own perceived shortcomings. Feeling burnt out and questioning her career choice, she turned to the principles outlined in Pam Grout's "E Cubed," specifically the "Dude Abides Principle." By asking the Universe for a clear sign within 48 hours, she received an unmistakable message in the form of money she had previously hidden in the book as a reminder to her future self. This event reaffirmed her belief in the power of manifestation and the existence of an energy field of infinite possibilities. The author also reflects on a past experience where she found money in unexpected ways after performing another experiment from Grout's "E Squared," reinforcing the idea that focusing on positive outcomes can lead to their manifestation. The narrative concludes with the author's realization that she is in a creative partnership with the Universe and that maintaining a consciousness of possibility is key to empowered wealth consciousness and personal guidance.

I Asked for a Sign and You Wouldn’t Believe What Happened

You can’t make this stuff up.

I have always had a different relationship with money.

I chased a professional career for many years, made a lot of money, then stepped away to become an author, infopreneur, and Women’s Wealth Coach.

I love what I do and the money has been good, but not what I expected. During a lull between clients, I made the mistake of looking outside of myself to see what other coaches were doing. I began to see their “success” and compare it to my “failures.”

I made the classic misstep of many coaches and healers.

I fell into the comparison trap.

That person has 10,000 followers; that person made X in one month! (You know these people — the internet is flooded with advice from coaches and writers who claim expertise status).

It caught me off guard when I realized that I wasn’t focused on my business. There was a sense of burnout and the voice in my head became louder as I focused on it:

  • You’ve written five books; why do you want to write another one?
  • You’re only getting 3–5 new followers a week;
  • Why are you doing this again?

Who wants to battle yourself? Why should I keep going when the outward data was not supportive?

I didn’t need this frustration.

The back story

Have you ever read a great book, learned from it, then went back to your life and old habits? I am guilty of absorbing information, then when I am stressed, defaulting to old patterns of behavior.

About nine years ago, I read a book called, “E Squared,” by Pam Grout. I mentioned the book in this article about time and money:

In 2014, Pam wrote a sequel called, “E Cubed,” which I also devoured, then put back on the bookshelf. I totally forgot what I learned while going through the energy experiments.

Years passed, major life changes happened.

And I fell into the comparison trap, looking for a way out.

I asked for a sign and this is what happened

Yesterday, I realized that I was spending too much time in the negative vortex of self-doubt (see above). I could feel myself sinking deeper into a dark morass of blame, guilt, and frustration, a recipe that sucked my energy dry.

I found my copy of “E Cubed” and decided to try one of the experiments.

It’s called, “The Dude Abides Principle: There is an Invisible Energy Force or Field of Infinite Possibilities.” You ask the Universe to make it’s presence known with a clear, unmistakable sign within 48 hours. And then you wait and notice what happens.

I asked for a sign from the Universe whether I should continue Wealth Coaching. It had to be clear, understandable and happen with 48 hours. That was yesterday.

Today, something prompted me to look at “E Cubed” again. As I was flipping through the book, this is what I found.

As soon as I saw this money, I started laughing. I remember when I put this money in the book, seeing my future self finding it. And here I was, eight years later, receiving the answer to my request for a sign from the Universe.

It reminded me that I can manifest my desires, when I believe they already exist in the invisible or spirit world.

It was a lesson I learned when I first read “E Cubed,” but I let life get in the way of my power.

There’s more to the story

Back in 2014, when I did the experiment called, “The Abracadabra Principle: Whatever You Focus on Expands,” I asked for money to find me in surprising ways.

My husband and I went to the grocery store that night to pick up a few items. We were walking down the aisle and I was thinking about my request to find money in a surprising way. As soon as I had that thought, I noticed a $10 bill lying on the floor. I started laughing and my husband thought I was crazy, until I explained what happened. He said he never saw the money, even though it was much darker than the white floor.

The $1 bill showed up in my coat pocket. I never put loose money in my coat because I always carry a purse. I still don’t know how it got there.

You may be thinking that money magically appearing is too hard to believe. I would ask that you read and perform the experiments in “E Squared” and “E Cubed” before you come to the conclusion that it’s impossible.

That’s the point — anything is possible when you believe it already exists. It’s your consciousness of the desire + possibility = manifestation.

The takeaway

The circle was complete. My past self had sent a message to my future (present) self that:

  • it’s going to be okay.
  • money is energy and it flows through time and space.
  • when you get lost, return to the basics of your creative power.

Rereading both books reminded me that I am in a creative partnership with the Universe. I can choose to see the dirt and the grime, or I can look up (and in) to see the beauty and magic that surrounds me.

When I get out of the way, the Universe supports me, sending me blessings, gifts, and guidance. And money, if I ask for it :-)
