Summary

The article discusses the concept of time and money as forms of energy that can be controlled by one's internal state to create a more abundant life experience.

Abstract

The article "How to Energize Time and Money" emphasizes the importance of understanding time and money as constructs that humans have allowed to dominate their lives. It suggests that by mastering one's personal energy, individuals can transform their experiences with time and money, turning them from controlling forces into supportive tools. The author argues that our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality, and by intentionally elevating our internal state, we can attract more of what we desire. The article references Pam Grout's book "E Squared," which provides experiments to demonstrate the power of thoughts in shaping one's experience of reality. By engaging with these experiments, the author experienced a shift in perception, noticing an abundance of what they focused on, such as kindness in the world. The article concludes that by consciously engaging with the energy of the universe, individuals can live a life of abundance, love, and well-being.

Time and money are concepts that humans created to manage life. But we have allowed both time and money to control us, instead of the other way around.

That’s why it’s helpful to step back and see time and money for what they are — energy that responds to your dominant energy.

When you learn how to control and direct your energy, you step into your power. Both time and money become tools that support you, instead of goals that control you.

You become the starting place to experience more time and money.

What do time and money have in common?

From the 10,000 foot view, time and money share many things in common. A few of their common traits are:

  • Both impact every person on the planet.
  • Both are measurable and data-driven.
  • Both are abundant and invisible.

When you consider that time and money are also energy, it changes the relationship you have with them.

For example, if you believe you will never be wealthy because you don’t have _____ (a college education, a marketable skill, etc.), then your words and actions will create evidence to support that belief.

Your thoughts and beliefs also control your experience of time. When you are rushed and in a hurry, doesn’t time seem to move faster? When you anticipate a future event like a vacation, time may move slower.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. — Albert Einstein

We experience money and time based on our internal state of energy or being.

Logically, it stands to reason that if we intentionally elevate our internal state, connect with a greater source of energy than our small minds can conceive, we can create new experiences of time and money.

That isn’t as far fetched as it sounds.

A fun book to read and prove to yourself

Pam Grout wrote a book called, “E Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments that Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality.”

Pam described a “field of potentiality” or “FP” that quantum physics define as “invisible moving forces that influence the physical realm.” The purpose of E Squared is for you to try the nine experiments for yourself and to experience your influence and connection to the FP.

As Pam describes the journey:

The nine experiments in this book…will prove that the FP, like electricity, is dependable, predictable, and available…that the field connects all of us, and that the reason we control our lives is because every thought we have is an energy way that affects everything else in the universe.”

When I went through the nine experiments, it opened my eyes to the invisible energy that responds to my energy. For example, Experiment #2 is called, “The Volkwagen Jetta Principle.” For the next 24 hours, I set an intention that I would only see silver cars. I went outside and watched a busy intersection near my house. In the space of two minutes, I counted 12 silver cars!

The cars were probably always there, but I didn’t see them. By setting my intention to see them, they appeared.

I decided to take the experiment a bit deeper. I declared that I only wanted to see kind gestures or actions. It didn’t take long for me to notice the door held open for me by a stranger, the person in front of me at the grocery store with a full basket letting me go ahead with my three items, etc.

There was another benefit from this experiment. As I noticed kindness from others, I saw more opportunities for me to be kind. It was almost as if I put on different glasses that allowed me to experience the flow of kindness energy.

E Squared is a fun read, Pam is a witty and satirical writer and she explains complex subjects in a way that makes sense. It’s almost as if you have a quirky teacher who can’t wait for you to experience life as energy.

The benefits of seeing everything as energy

Once you see everything as energy, it changes how you show up. Since it all starts with you, you become more intentional.

  • you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, and you transform them to positive energy;
  • your relationships improve, because you aren’t taking everything personally. Instead, you are more present, in the moment and attuned to the other person;
  • you begin to experiment with your creative powers and life becomes magical.

Time and money no longer control you. Instead, because you know that your energy and consciousness impact how you experience time and money, you decide that abundance and love are your set points. The beauty of making and living from that intention is that is what you will experience.

Try it for yourself. It’s the way we are supposed to live — being human.

The Takeaway

As you move through your life, notice the quality of your experience. When you’re stressed and feeling tight on time, you can change your inner state.

Here’s what I do: when I’m running late, I tell myself (in a calm and soothing voice), “I have all the time in the world.” I have discovered that my body relaxes, my thoughts stop churning, and all of the signal lights stay green to allow me to move forward easily.

The same approach works with money. When I receive an unexpected bill and notice my thoughts growing dark and dense, I step away and breathe. After my body is calm and centered, I visualize the money flowing easily from my bank account to the unexpected bill. The energy is fluid and full of love and I see it come back to me. When it’s time to pay the bill, I always have the money available.

As you become aware of your inner state of energy, move away from dense, dark, negative energy of fear, lack, scarcity, or frustration. Use your breath to move into the higher energies of love, abundance, and acceptance. Then watch what happens in your life.

Please share what you experience. By sharing with others, you help raise the collective consciousness.

Remember:

I am you. You are me. We are one. All is well.
