I Am Not a Fan of Manifestation Anymore
I am done with it, so I can finally be at peace.

Whenever I hear somebody is trying to manifest a partner, a dream job, a luxurious mansion, I get cringes.
People marvel at ‘the Secret’ like it is something unattainable, yet very desirable.
My friend drove herself into the endless and insane loop of purchasing every crystal she could lay her eyes upon. Her manifesting rituals became her must-have, not nice to have. She became a slave to the time and space of her morning and evening routines.
The word manifestation seems to be the culprit.
I believe this word is what trips people up. We started putting it on the pedestal, or perhaps the culture of the Law of Attraction and the craze of movies and books has decided to put it on the pedestal for us.
Manifestations seem like wrecking balls causing chaos in one’s self-concept and understanding the Law of Attraction. It has been transformed into a priceless, yet elusive phenomenon, we are all waiting for. The issue remains that once you are in the state of waiting, you will get stuck in it — never satisfied with where you are or what you have got.
The truth is that we are manifesting all the time.
Every second. Every thought. Your whole life up to this point has been a series of manifestations of your beliefs and assumptions. Still, we make such a big deal out of the concept of manifesting. When in fact, it is with us every day.
- Your good feeling in the morning. BAM! Manifestation.
- Your blissful state when drinking coffee and appreciating the view outside your window. BAM! Manifestation.
- Your crappy mood in the traffic on your way to work. BAM! The oncoming bus. Just kidding. Another manifestation. (Those uncomfortable feelings are not only manifestations, but also precious guidance. Do not ever underestimate or try burying them down).
Whenever you admire the blue sky above your head, you start appreciating the birds, the sun, the blasting colours of nature nearby. You start feeling more energized. You produce positive emotions and responses in your body. That is the Law of Attraction in its purest form. One appreciative, ecstatic thought attracts another.
Manifesting is easy, unavoidable and an everyday affair. It is our perception of it that makes it an over-the-top task. We chase. We wait. We visualize. We assume it is something bigger than us. When, in fact, we are the source of manifestation. Our thoughts, what we believe about people and the world gets translated upon our experiences. So instead of constant visualization and scripting, one should focus upon soothing your state of mind, relaxing into the knowing and trust that you are on the right path and enjoy your life how it is. Because what is, is only temporary.
Living in ‘the end’ state.
The actor cannot pretend. He must enter and become the part he has agreed to play. He cannot step upon the stage knowing he is a great actor who everyone recognizes. He must lose himself in the character by leaving his personality in the dressing room and entering the stage as the character he is to portray.
— Neville Goddard
In ‘the end state’ there is no space for the ‘what if’ or pretending. We are the pure embodiment of the desire itself.
Since we are already whole and complete…
Since we already have whatever we want…
We are not waiting. We are not chasing. We are not dreaming about it. We are already it. We are at peace. We are fulfilled. No more pining for the manifestation. The desire looses its importance as the wellbeing comes first.
I guess I am removing the word manifestation from my vocabulary to replace it with
- a child’s play,
- a creation,
- an obvious unfolding of events unravelling from my state of trust and harmony I live in.
How do you feel about manifestation?
What do you think about the concept that reality is your mirror?
