I Am Joy A Form Of Pure Love
In response to Dancing Elephants Press prompt #14 of 52 for book project #2

“JOY” is a state of mind that’s enhanced by doing something that you love, that makes you happy. It gives the pleasure of fulfillment. We dance, sing, and fly around with joy.
Joy brings smiles and stays in the heart!
Happiness brings laughter that spreads in the air!
— GnanVi
What is Joy? Where do you find it?
Joy, for me, is in purity that’s powerful, vibrant, and energizes which I find only when experiencing the bliss of Mother Nature, immersed in Her soul, in the innocent smile of a child, and in the smiles of fragrant vibrant flowers.
This experience of joy can be recreated and felt by revisiting the moments of joy.
Joy is mostly selfless; a feeling of emotion felt within oneself by making others happy.
Joy is a feeling of fulfillment experienced by giving.
Joy is a feeling of ecstasy, feeling out of the world, but yet feeling connected to everything.
Joy is a pleasant feeling that’s inseparable accompanied by a calm mind; it’s a vacuum, you don’t have any thoughts, it’s blank but pleasant and pleasurable.
“The pure inner self!”
“When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” — Buddha
How does it work?
Joy is stored deep in the subconscious permanently, strengthened more and more by every joyful experience you have in your life. It gives you instant happiness, gets stored, and when overflown it creates happy smiling faces as far as it travels.
The stored memories of joy become the catalyst to your happiness whenever needed, even during your darkest times in life.
It works for me that way. So, it’s very easy for me to bounce back from any dreadful situation. It’s been the secret of my survival for more than two decades now. I do mental time travel to revisit and recollect joyous memories to experience joy.
I grew up as Nature’s own child in the beautiful blue mountains of The Nilgiris in India. So, being a complete Nature person who is awaiting the golden knight’s arrival to take me to the jungle where I wish to be, living in a 24/7 buzzy, busy city, by the runway, I survive every second of my life by living in my memories of joy.
“Joy cannot be seen by others, but can be felt by some, it’s a mystery to many.” — GnanVi
Joy is a mystery because it can happen anywhere, anytime, even under the most unpromising circumstances, even in the midst of suffering, with tears in its eyes…
— Frederick Buechner
What can Joy do to you?
When in joy, you are so filled with love and unstoppable energy!
A joyful person can be a cure for someone’s heartache. A joyful person can create smiles and happiness in other people’s lives. A joyful person can light up a crowd and the surrounding.
Joy is the fulfillment of the heart, mind, and soul. You wouldn’t even feel the hunger in your stomach or the thirst in your throat while experiencing joy.
Experience the Feel of Joy
As I mentioned earlier, my joyful experiences come from Mother Nature. Allow me to give you the experience of joy with the two magical ingredients, “rain and clouds.”
The Joy of Dancing in the Rain
A Joy that gets you drenched with love as you look up and wave your face squeezing your eyes shut not being able to withstand the love of the pouring rain!
A Joy that moves your hips, swinging your legs, waving your arms raising your feet off the ground to touch and feel every droplet of the love of the pouring rain!
A Joy that opens your arms wide the muddy puddles jump with joy when sliding your soles along splish, splash, splish, splosh the love of the pouring rain!
Wait! Are you drenched?
Tell me about your experience, the pleasure of joy!
A Walk on Cloud
Follow the footsteps into this trail in the beautiful tea gardens. We are very close and we’ll be there on the top of a mountain.
You are standing on tiptoe at the tip of the mountain with your arms wide open and watching like a hawk.
Can you see its friend peak far away? So, what’s there below? Just look below without moving forward. What do you see?
Oh! The valley!
Rising up, the mystery mist, without revealing a hint of gist, up and up, jumping like a frog to lay out the white carpet of fog!
And there you have a parade of doves and the thunder drums welcoming you to the friend peak!
A walk! Oh! A Walk on Cloud!
Again, tell me about the experience, the ecstasy of joy!
Choose to be Joyful
Do you want this ecstatic state to persist? Is it possible?
To have persistent joy, the only thing you have to do is, “decide to be joyful.” It’s as simple as that.
Yes, it’s a choice you make.
Now, you know how it feels to be joyful and you don’t want to miss this invincible pleasure of joy.
Recharge and refill every now and then by taking a break to do what you love the most, which gives you joy.
Joy is Love
As I’m writing this, every time I write joy, I’m feeling Love in my every cell. I am not able to differentiate between the both, so I would like to conclude that “Joy is a form of Love.”
