I Am Easily Getting 15 to 20 Views a Day From a Single Story by Just Pinning It
The positive effect of pinning a story to your profile’s top
Three months ago, I wrote a story that went viral and gained so many views, followers and also helped me increase my earnings. It gave me so many big spikes in my analytics. However, since everything has an end, it also started dying. I was still getting 3 or 4 views every day, but I was not happy with it because the story has the ability to get more views.
So I tried learning about how to get more views because I knew if someone click on the story, he will read it to the end. And I came up with the idea of pinning.
I haven’t thought about pinning a story to my profile’s top. But after reading an article about the benefits of pinning stories, I thought about giving it a try.
It has been a month since I pinned my story to the top, and it’s receiving 15 to 20 views a day. I think that’s enough views for a beginner writer who started writing on Medium just three months ago.
You can receive even more views if your story has the ability — But there is a question. How could anyone get views by just pinning a story to their profile’s top?
Don’t worry, I will explain it.
You get the views by pinning when someone visits your profile and sees your story at the top. But the good thing is, you don’t need to attract visitors to your profile. Because Medium already does it for you by recommending new writers on everyone’s home page. You also get visitors to your profile from your other stories.
I can promise you that you will receive 15 to 20 views every day from your story by pinning it. But let me tell you one thing, you won’t get the views by pinning any story. It has to be unique.
Your story must have the ability to be on the top because not every story has the ability to be on your profile’s top.
Although, you can get at least 3 to 5 views if you put any story to your profile’s top. But if you wanna get 15 to 20 views, you will have to select a story that can get you the views you want.
But how will you know if a story has the ability to be at the top or not? — Don’t worry, I have also written a story to help you select a story for your profile’s top.
You can try checking these factors in your story and then decide to put it on your profile’s top. If your story fulfills these things, you are ready to pin it. But if these things are missing, you should try adding them or write a new story while keeping these factors in mind.
