Hurdling Higher — Or How I’ve Done on Medium Over the Last Four Weeks!

I’m not a big fish, I’m a little guppy but I’ve got grit and a more than a little moxie.

All right — so I’ve started on Medium in mid-March. I paid for a year’s membership. Why mess around?

That’s one hurdle.

By the end of March I had a couple of dozen articles written, had attracted over 100 followers and had been accepted into the Partner Program.

That’s hurdle two, maybe even three.

I made about seven dollars in those two weeks in March. Now, I’m halfway through the month of April I am just passing the two-figure market for Medium bucks and I’ve still got a couple of weeks to go in April.

That’s hurdle three.

I’ve had stories accepted in several publications including Tantalizing Tales, Fuck Niches (love that title), as well as as The CookBook For All. well as two stories accepted for Tantalizing Tales — one full-sized story and one short form story that is coming out in a day or so.

And yes, I write recipes as well as sexy short stories and tales of horror.

I even write poetry!

That’s another hurdle.

NOW — tonight I happened to read an article by Brian Feutz that threw a brand new shiny hurdle in my path. Next I need to come up with an article that is worth of further distribution.

In the words of Barney Stinson — “Challenge Accepted!”
